Business Standard seats missed the Oct 2 usage reset — OpenAI team is investigating
ChatGPT Business Standard users say none of their seats received the Oct 2 global usage reset even after the Pro 500 fix — and an OpenAI team member has confirmed the gap is under review.
What happened
Tibo announced an Oct 2 global usage reset for "all paid ChatGPT accounts" and later said it had fully propagated. Multiple Business Standard users report that none of their paid seats received it — usage limits stayed exactly where they were.
Who's affected
Users in the thread report 4, 3, and 8 paid Business Standard seats respectively with zero resets applied; one reports a weekly Codex limit "completely frozen at ~2% remaining" with an unreset countdown. Users contrast this with Pro 500, which Tibo fixed within hours ("All fixed"), and note Business Premium also received the fix — but Business Standard is still waiting, more than two days later.
Déjà vu
In July, OpenAI explicitly confirmed that Business workspaces had been "inadvertently omitted" from two Codex hard resets and later issued a corrective Business reset — users suspect the same multi-tenant propagation gap this time.
OpenAI's response
OpenAI team member VeitB replied to the thread on October 4: "I've pinged the team to take a look, but I can't share a timeline yet. Thanks for raising this, and for confirming that the issue remains after the Pro 500 reset was applied to your accounts."
Why it matters
Business Standard customers are paying team seats relying on Codex for production work; missed resets leave production teams stuck on frozen limits while support replies have reportedly been boilerplate (case #16335162 was told "0 banked resets doesn't mean it didn't apply" and to buy Shared Workspace Credits).
