OpenAI removes fixed creation limits on ChatGPT Sites for Plus and Pro
OpenAI's help docs now say there is no fixed limit on the number of ChatGPT Sites Plus and Pro users can create. Usage and storage limits still apply, and building or editing a Site counts toward your Codex usage.
What happened
OpenAI quietly updated its ChatGPT Sites help documentation. The FAQ now reads: "Sites hosting is currently included with ChatGPT Plus and Pro. There is no fixed limit on the number of Sites you can create. Building or editing a Site counts toward your Codex usage." Previously, Plus and Pro users had a fixed number of Sites they could create. Enterprise workspaces still have hosting charges waived, with usage and storage limits still applying.
Why it matters
Sites is OpenAI's build-and-host-web-apps product inside ChatGPT, and removing the creation cap makes it a much more serious hosting option for paying users who want to ship multiple projects. The catch: every build and edit draws from the same Codex usage pool, and Sites remains unavailable on Free and Go.
