Cue: agents with their own identity
Each Cue agent gets its own email address, phone number, wallet, and computer. Agents can send messages, make payments within a budget the user sets, take calls and leave a summary, and multiple agents can coordinate with each other in a group chat — a shared group-chat example Manus cites is one agent researching venues, another shortlisting options, and a third drafting a presentation.
Manus 2.0 platform
The same release adds the Cascade agent harness, which Manus says used 23.2% fewer tokens, 28.2% less time, and 32% less cost in one tested configuration — Manus's own claims, not independently verified figures. The desktop client is renamed Manus Studio with Video Editor and Game Dev workspaces, plus a Cloud Computer environment for persistent hosting and Automations that trigger tasks from incoming emails or Slack messages.

Manus 2.0 is available now. Cue is in free early access with the invite code MEETCUE; iOS access follows App Store review.
The bigger picture
Cue lands one day before OpenAI's Dots launch and directly after Manus's split from Meta — Meta acquired Manus in late 2025 but unwound the deal after Beijing blocked it, and Meta is now betting on its own Muse agent. Manus is reported to be seeking a $500 million raise at a $4 billion valuation.
