Tibo Day 12: Codex and Work get more effective usage via context reuse
Tibo's Day 12 Codex improvement: reusing context across subagents, longer context caching, and smarter request routing give Codex and Work users more effective usage from the same limits. Part of the 28-day ship-or-reset challenge.
What happened
Day 12 of Thibault Sottiaux's 28-day Codex challenge landed on Oct 16 as an improvement, not a reset. Tibo said improvements to Codex and Work increase the effective usage users get: context is now reused across subagents, context stays cached longer, and request routing is better for higher cache hits.
Why it matters
More cache hits and shared context mean fewer requests measured against the weekly limits, effectively stretching the same Codex and Work quotas. It continues the challenge's pattern: every day brings either an improvement or a full usage reset, with the most recent full reset on Day 10 (Oct 14-15).
