Need a deck your team can edit together? ChatGPT Slides is rolling out in Space for Pro, Business, and Enterprise

#What changed

ChatGPT Slides is rolling out inside ChatGPT Space. You can have ChatGPT build a presentation from a conversation, from files, or from an outline, and you can share an example deck so it follows your style and layout. The deck lives in Space, so teammates can edit it with you in real time and leave shared comments. Space launched on Sept 29 with slides listed as coming soon; Tibo said on X that slides support was added this week.

#Who is affected

Pro, Business, and Enterprise users who already have Space, on the web and in the ChatGPT desktop app. It's rolling out, so you may not see it right away. Plus, Free, and Go aren't included.

#What to do now

• In ChatGPT, switch to Work and ask it to create a presentation in Space. That's the starting point OpenAI gives.
• Give it real material to work from, such as the chat where you worked out the plan, the files, or a short outline, rather than a one-line topic.
• If your team has a house style, share an example deck so ChatGPT matches the layout instead of inventing one.
• Edit text, images, shapes, and charts directly, or ask ChatGPT to make the change. Invite teammates to edit at the same time and use comments for feedback.
• When it's ready, present straight from ChatGPT. On the web you can export to PowerPoint, PDF, or Google Slides. In the desktop app you can open the deck in PowerPoint or Keynote if they're installed.
• Before you send an exported deck to anyone, open it in the target app and check fonts, chart editability, and layout.

#What is not confirmed

OpenAI's notes don't say how well exports keep editable charts, fonts, or animations, and DotsFeed hasn't tested it. They also don't say how much usage building a deck takes or when Plus users might get it.
