Who is affected
Codex users on Plus, Pro and Business plans. The post does not single out other plans or regions.
What to do now
Nothing is required. Your Codex usage meter should show the refreshed allowance; if it doesn't, restart the Codex app or CLI session and check again.
What is not confirmed
This comes from a post on X, not an official changelog entry. Exact plan coverage, timing per region and whether the reset repeats have not been confirmed in OpenAI documentation.
